February 14, 2011, tripartite meeting was held between representatives of educational associations of France and the leadership of LNAU. During the meeting, a tripartite agreement as to training of agricultural specialists, teachers of French at University and its colleges was signed.

After signing the agreement selection was held for training in France, 5 students were invited to training of higher levels and 9 students were accepted conditionally for training with a requirement for language proficiency after the spring intensive course taken by the French side.

During the meeting the French side emphasized:

The French side would like to insist that the intensive language course in town Dubliany and following it training in France is officially recognized by the Ukrainian authorities. For the present this training is not figuring on course of French-speaking students.

Practical training in France is important for students. It gives them additional language and professional knowledge and experience of relationship with France and business life. Students don’t go to France to see Paris and Eiffel tower. They also don’t go to collect the strawberries and carrots to make money on this. Usage of seasonal workers is banned in France. They come to learn, understand and become a competent staff in agriculture.

Maximum duration of the internship is 6 months, in total it lasts 2 months, from July to late September, except for wine trade, which lasts until October.

This is done at the request of the Rector, not to take students from their studies for a long time, except as it is permitted by the Rector, as it was the case with the architect Marina Kalyn.

From the Embassy, ​​intensive language courses are well accepted and strongly encouraged.

Internship in France, despite its conducting on standard husbandries and by selected heads, does not meet the demands of student summer practice at LNAU. It’s necessary to have official recognition by the University and higher instances of our practice to charge for the scores.

Teacher of French will be fully occupied with students, that’s why he will not be able to hold classes for foreign language teachers. Summer practice is offered for teachers by teacher from France (at the end of August, in town Dubliany), it has official status and is very popular.

The main goal of all our activities is to facilitate students' job search. Those students who have been trained in France, have better chances of getting decent work in Ukraine.
