The system of Correspondence Education in Lviv National Agrarian University was set up in 1948. Since then more than 20 thousand specialists have been trained at the Faculty. Today more than 7, 5 thousand students study at the Faculty. As a separate structural unit within the University the Faculty of Correspondence Education was established in 1999.

The educational process at the Faculty is organized according to credit and module system, complete and brief programs.

Specialists are trained according to the education and qualification levels of “Bachelor”, “Specialist”,“Master”. The following specialties are trained here: “Accounting and Auditing”, “Finance and Credit”, “Economics of Enterprises”, “Management”, “Geodesy, Cartography and Land Management”, “Processing, Machines and Equipment of Agricultural Production”, “Power Engineering and Electro-technical Systems in Agro-industrial Complex”, “Building”, “Agronomy”, “Ecology, Environment Protection and Balanced Usage of Nature”.

The Faculty provides high quality education for students using modern technologies of education and following the principles of Bologna declaration.
