Our University is one of the most powerful centers of education in our country, greatly contributing to the development of agrarian science, spiritual and material culture. It is known that welfare of a nation depends on the level of its education. Under present conditions the Faculty of Economics of LNAU trains qualified specialists who  propose new solutions and build country basing on new fundamentals. It is forced by the need of integration of Ukraine into the European and world community.

The Faculty trains specialists in the following directions: Management, Accounting, Economics of Enterprises, Finance, and International Economics. There are nearly 1800 full-time students at the Faculty.

Nowadays, educational process at the Faculty of Economics is provided by highly qualified scientific and pedagogical staff, i.e. 168 teachers, among them 11 Doctors of Sciences (PhD), professors, 83 Candidates of Sciences (PhD), assistant professors. Structure of the Faculty is made by 10 departments: Economic Theory; Accounting; Finance and Credit; Information Systems and Technologies; Statistics and Analysis; Management of Organization; Economics of Enterprises; International Economics and Management of Foreign Economic Activity; Law and Entrepreneurship; Foreign Languages. Besides, the Faculty has four methodic rooms and nine computer rooms.

Students of the Faculty have possibilities to practice their knowledge at agricultural enterprises of different forms of property. The best students have agricultural practice at farms of Great Britain, Germany, Holland, France. Great attention is paid to the development of international scientific cooperation. Students of the Faculty take an active part in extracurricular activities and become winners of different competitions.

We are proud of our graduates who work at state and local authorities as accountants, economists, managers at agrarian enterprises, educational establishments, scientific and research organizations, financial institutions, etc.
