History The first teachers of jurisprudence were professors Vladyslav Ostrozhynskyy and Ernest Till. Studying of law courses were introduced during the Soviet period. Department of Law was established in September, 2001 due to division of the Department of Management and Law. Since the establishment of the department, it was headed by Candidate of Economics (Ph.D.) Saldan Antin Yosypovych, and from September 2005 - by Doctor of Economics (Ph. D.), Professor Gubeni Yuriy Eduardovych. In 2007 the Department of Law was renamed into the Department of Law and Entrepreneurship. Legal disciplines such as Law, Land Law, Business Law and others (about 22 fields of law) are trained at the Department of Law. Today the department is working on scientific research subject: "Improvement of legal relations in the agrarian sector of economy".
